Delegate Carroll Foy (2nd District, Prince William and Stafford) is a former public defender and one of the first women graduates of the Virginia Military Institute. That takes muscle and will power, BUT…while undertaking the monumental task of running for the House of Delegates in 2017, she was pregnant, delivered twin boys, and then won the seat!
The Progress Jazz Quintet includes some of the Richmond area’s most propulsive jazz artists: John Winn, tenor saxophone; Lucy Kilpatrick, keys; Emre Kartari, drums; Matt Hall, bass; Victor Haskins, trumpet and fluegelhorn.
